“ We have been here a few times and the food is always great. We got jambalaya as an appetizer and it was excellent. I had the shrimp poboy and it was very good. My wife had the chicken etoufee and really liked it. The hush puppies were crispy and excellent. ”
“ Delicious well prepared food with great flavor. Service was great and our server Myles made our first experience there really enjoyable! Will be back very soon. ”
“ Food was great! Could of had more wait staff. It was a very busy place at 7 on a Saturday night. The place is small and the live band was good. Our wait was only 30 minutes to get seated. Our Waitress was wonderful, don't get me wrong but she had lots of tables! Definitely going back!! And yes I have been to the one in in KCMO and it's just as great! ”
“ The food & service is fantastic, and I love when the live music is rocking. But what no one talks about enough is the drinks. Seriously. I have never had consistently fantastic cocktails. I had a moscow mule tonight... first one in a metal cup after probably after 3 other places where I got plastic or glass. And yes, it makes a difference. I can't explain it. They've made the BEST mojitos I've ever had. No drink I've had there have I had better anywhere else. The Chantilly drink and their Louisiana lemonade... hit the spot. I don't even drink that much, I just love trying something new there, lol. The staff clearly care about your experience, Brittany does everything she can to make everything as enjoyable and good for everyone she can. I've been going to Jazz since they opened in their first location and I'll be there on the last day before they close if I'm still alive, lol. ”
“ 3 July 2024... Just went back to Jazz Louisiana Kitchen again and had the most wonderful meal and service again. I had the stir fry, best ever, and had plenty to eat. We had Payton as our server, very friendly and attentive, very knowledgeable of the different Entrees. She kept our drinks full and checked on us to be sure everything was great. Well done Payton! Brittany the manager checked on us as well, asked if everything was up to our standards. She’s very friendly and a wonderful bubbly personality. THANK YOU SO MUCH for another wonderful meal. Brittany and Payton, We will definitely be back even tho we are a couple of hours away, it’s well worth the trip. Bringing friends with us next time!! Looking forward to coming again real soon! The food is absolutely superb. The services we get from Jazz is awesome... such friendly and helpful servers, being very attentive as well.. it’s a wonderful place to have a meal. Everyone is so friendly, even up to management. Brittany is so sweet and friendly making sure we are happy with our food and service. We will definitely be back, soon. It’s a great place to dine. They all made us feel good about us being there. ”
“ Hadn't been to Jazz in quite some time but I recently chose this restaurant for dinner and drinks with my husband and friends. I will admit I was so hungry that EVERYTHING on the menu looked good. We had appetizers (charbroiled oysters and voodoo crawfish tails) and they were delicious. My entree' (blackened tilapia with rice and vegetables) was also very good and quite a large portion. Now, the drinks were superb and we tried several while listening to the live band. Our server was very attentive. I will not wait so long next time to go back to Jazz! ”
“ I was actually looking for a different restaurant when I stumbled across Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen and boy am I glad I couldn't find the other one. The food is excellent and it's very reasonably priced. If you like Cajun cooking you have to go here. ”
“ I placed a Togo order for the crawfish but sadly they were out. However the manager (or at least I assume the manager) was extremely kind and hospital and helped me with replacing my order for the peeled shrimp and it was delightful. She expressed genuine sympathy for the lack of ingredients for my original order, but it’s not a big deal. I was a fine dining bartender in Nashville for over a decade so I’d have to be a real jerk to not understand that these things happen. Don’t worry, I WILL be back and enjoy your excellent food again! ”
